Our latest creations at my art studio include collaged hearts in honor of the warmest and fuzziest holiday of the year, Valentine's Day! My loyal students collaged hearts of two different sizes that were stitched onto cardstock and canvases. These lovely pieces serve as gifts to their friends, teachers and other loved ones. This week, students made 10 collage hearts of two different sizes which they assembled into a beautiful heart mobile attached with jute string. These kids have a great eye, and no wonder, after hundreds of hours working fiendishly on collage projects in my studio!
