With so many leftover scraps from my collage classes this summer, I decided to create a custom collage table top. It took about 5 days to complete. I just ordered a custom cut square piece of glass to cover and protect the table artwork. What do you think? I think recycled rocks!

This is incredible! I'm reminded of all those decoupage creations my grandmother and I created during hot summer days visiting her house in Virginia. Many and many used stamps from my grandfather's stocks (he was a stamp dealer) were "sacrificed" for our pieces. Maybe this is why I'm so drawn to collage!!!

Thank you, Dave! I hope the table and your experiences inspire you to create something on a large scale. This was an ambitious project for me because I usually create 5"x5" collage pieces and this table was 22". I'd love to do a complete wall made of collage reprints! Can you imagine?
